ARTIST STATEMENT
INSIDE OUT / OUTSIDE IN
I’m a multi-media artist exploring the space between a visible, organic, anthropomorphic place and a zone of unseen energy and data. My work visualizes transformation, metamorphosis, emergence, and growth. Vessels and primordial cocoons feed off of internal data directives, driven by a distinctly female force. This energy flows between biological forms, genetic codes and the notion of CRISPR. Through visual storytelling and sound my studio work and selected media projects explore the relationship between the inside-out and the outside-in.
